There is and optical fibre that runs alongside the wick, as it picks up the light from the candle flame it activates a light-sensitive trigger that fires up a series of coloured LED bulbs. The Magic Candle will gently phase through a wide rainbow of colours from cool blues to honey-warm oranges, and has an impressive burn time of 20 hours.
